We gathered on Saturday Oct 16 at Blake’s Mojave Sands Motel for our first barnraising!
Barnraiser Nicholas Holmes sprearheaded the effort to build a rammed earth bench. Stephanie Smith, Blake Simpson, Gregory Glenn, Lynelle White, Deborah Martin and Bobby Furst all lent a hand. Eva and Jenny did too. Tucker (the dog) provided emotional support, and Chantale Doyle provided much needed refreshments. Lance Charles couldn’t make it Saturday, but created a straw bale bench nearby as part of the effort.

It will dry for 48 hours then we’ll add a wood plank top.
